It has three different levels of psychoanalytic training, so that it can provide analytic education to practitioners at all stages of professional development.
The International Association of Relational Psychoanalysts and Psychologists: IARPP is a growing organization with members throughout the world. In its expanding theoretical field are many post-modern and post-classical psychoanalytic theories and thinkers. Its journal isPsychoanalytic Dialogues.
The International Association of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology
IAPSP is long established organization with members throughout the world. Its theoretical umbrella covers Intersubjective Systems Theory, Classical Self Psychology, Developmental Self Psychology, and Motivational Systems Theory. IAPSP publishes an important journal The International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology.
Dr. Robert Glover. Dr. Glover wrote a book entitled No More Mr. Nice Guy that I have found very useful for me personally and for many of the men I treat in my practice. I am a certified trainer in his therapeutic approach, and I am forming an ongoing men’s group that will operate in accord with his teachings.
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Westwood, which now includes the former California Graduate Institute (where I did my graduate training,) is a private graduate school of clinical psychology. I am an adjunct professor there, teaching classes in Existentialist Humanist Psychotherapy.
